Hanoi University of Science and Technology is a multidisciplinary technical university founded on October 15, 1956. The school has always been one of the leading technical universities in Vietnamese education. 31 standard training programs, designed according to CDIO international standards

24 ELiTECH programs - designed for elite students who aspire to become good engineers, experts and managers in the core engineering and technology industries of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, including:

• 15 advanced programs: designed according to the training programs of universities in the United States, Germany, Japan, England, Australia, and Belgium, teaching and learning in English (except for Vietnamese-Japanese IT programs and the Vietnamese-Japanese IT program). IoT smart embedded system learns in Vietnamese and enhances Japanese)
• 07 talent training programs: for especially excellent students
• 02 Vietnamese - French programs (PFIEV)

9 international training programs: Cooperation with universities in Japan, Germany, France, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

Infrastructure:

• The school's campus has a total area of 26 hectares (the largest among universities in the inner city of Hanoi).
• Ta Quang Buu electronic library with an area of 37,000 m2, can serve 2,000 students at the same time with 600,000 books and 130,000 electronic books. Students have free access to databases from sources such as Science Driect, Scopus…
• System of 400 classrooms and laboratories, including 12 key and centrally invested laboratories, effectively serving training and research.
• All lecture halls are fully equipped with air conditioning and teaching equipment along with free wifi system on campus.The spacious dormitory center meets the accommodation needs of nearly 4,500 students.
• The sports complex has an area of 20,000 m2 with modern facilities, including: football field, swimming pool, national standard tennis court and Southeast Asian standard multi-purpose gymnasium.
